Timber For Building

With everything going on in the world right now, I’m doing my best to do my bit to help save humanity. This means staying on my property, and only leaving the house for the necessities. This has been quite an adjustment for me, as I had become accustomed to leaving my house every day before everything changed. It’s been three weeks now, and I’m starting to get a little bit of cabin fever. I miss going to the gym. So much.

Seeing as it doesn’t look like we’ll be able to leave our houses any time soon, I’ve decided to build myself gym equipment. To start with, I’ll build a bench press, steps and all that jazz. I’ll be leaving my house for the first time in three weeks, to go and buy timber supplies. Cheltenham is my local suburb so I don’t feel too guilty about leaving my home as I won’t be going that far. It’ll be a quick trip so that I can buy wood and everything else I need to make my equipment. I’m pretty handy so building the equipment won’t be an issue for me, and it will be so good when I can start working out again.

I might see if I can buy some timber in bulk, and make gym equipment for my friends and neighbours too. It’s so important to keep exercising during this time. Not only do our bodies rely on it, but our minds do too. I know I’ll feel so much better once I’ve started working out again. I’m also very much looking forward to visiting the hardware store. Cheltenham is a great place, and it’ll be so nice to leave my house even if it’s just for thirty minutes. I know this won’t go on forever, so until it’s over I’m going to make sure I keep my morale up and press as many kilos as possible.
